Reporting to the Director,Business Intelligence, the Senior Business Intelligence Specialist is responsible for creating reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision-making. Assists in requirements analysis, data analysis, data mapping, report development & testing, report modifications and documentation. Determines and develops strategy and framework for consistent report standards.

- Elicit and understand requirements from the business to develop and deliver operational reports and/or analytic data models that support daily business operations, Business Intelligence dashboards, subject area analysis, and statistical analysis.
- Provide front-end development, delivery and support of Business Intelligence and analytical solutions.
- Develop interactive and insightful Power BI visualizations and stories that are easily understood.
- Identify data quality issues and see through to resolution. Test and validate data flow and reports.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Required education and experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related field required.
Minimum Experience Required:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Business Intelligence and dashboard development.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau required.
- Experience with Snowflake required.
- High proficiency with SQL required.
- Prior experience with complex healthcare data preferred.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Direct experience with Snowflake SQL Server preferred
- Proficient with Power Query, DAX and MDX for complex data projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other data analytics tools.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in performing complex data analysis and preparing reports.
- Knowledge of practice management and electronic health record (EHR) systems; prior experience with Epic and Athena preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including the ability to effectively assess and manage priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
