Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the technical lead in designing, installing, and configuring systems for new implementations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Generate weekly audit reports on BI user logins, permission changes, and usage reports by group.
- Validate hardware setup, perform impact analysis, and handle application installation, configuration, and security.
- Conduct workload analysis on the production environment and regularly maintain the BI repository, including restarting production services as needed.
- Work closely with end users to design universes that align with business requirements and promote consistent reporting across multiple areas.
- Proficiency in the entire Business Objects application suite.
- Experience managing and sizing Business Objects application servers.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly to changes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workflow effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with Tableau and GCP/Big Query.
- Knowledge of Python and data science.
- Familiarity with asset management and financial services (Blackrock OMS preferred).
