Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting revenue growth and overall business performance through coordination of the sales funnel, delivering business insights and strategic analysis, and the continuous improvement of our sales, account management and contracting processes.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Business Intelligence & Reporting, whom you'll work very closely with. You will interact cross-functionally regularly as you ensure that all operational elements & data integrity within the billing, sales, sales operations and reconciliation management processes are running efficiently. As such, your ability to build strong relationships and influence without authority in addition to your analytical and operational skillset will be critical to success in this role.
Office Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Hybrid, ~3-2 days in-office per week
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
Responsibilities include:
Execution of Strategy:
- Deliver analysis and insights pertaining to marketing and sales activity, market/competitive intelligence, and profitability.
- Project manage programs and initiatives related to the Metergy's US Services strategy, such as market segmentation, client engagement, and margin & vendor analysis.
Performance Reporting:
- Analysis of KPI reports including sales/product conversions, growth, product health and YoY trends, leading to OKR development.
- Identify and make suggestions on potential actions/activities related to improve outcomes and help teams to prioritize opportunities based on knowledge of Metergy products and services.
- Working in a variety of reporting systems and databases for the creation of recurring reports and dashboards
Billing & Sales Operations:
- Ability to Navigate SalesForce CRM, build reporting, ensure consistency and compliance across the sales organization.
- Support Marketing to develop, execute and track region or sector-based marketing plans where applicable
- Take a data-driven approach to further refine where teams can focus to develop their strategies for pursuing medium-to long-term opportunities.
- Knowledge of SQL syntax and experience debugging queries for accurate results

- Excellent skills in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Suite, JIRA, R/Python (plus).
- Creativity, relationship building skills and dedication are all highly desirable.
- Experience supporting sales and/or operations is an asset.
