The Quality Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the support of metrics and reporting to US Controls (i.e. CAS and PPS business areas). The BAR will also provide support to the Quality Management System (QMS) assuring compliance to the QMS as well as Life Cycle Management in all aspects to support the CAS and PPS business areas, which may include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as a liaison between internal departments within CAS and PPS as well as any suppliers.
• Support 8D Root Cause analysis to develop and implement formulations of permanent and irreversible corrective actions (internally or at a supplier).
• Development, Implementation and Maintenance of metrics that directly and indirectly support the Quality and Quality Management System (QMS) improvement activities including analyzing SCARs / NCs / SVRs / Delinquencies.
• Lead Read-Across efforts regarding Internal/Supplier Quality-related issues that may affect the entire business area.
• Support & Develop Segmentation and Strategic Risk Analysis for Left-Shifting AS9145 compliance.
• Access data from multi-disciplinary company data sources on servers or data models and utilize Excel Power Query to extract, manipulate, and create metrics with Excel-based visualizations.
• Build basic ad-hoc Power BI reports and dashboards that connect to data sources.
• Learn and use Python development tools to build simple scripts to extract, transform and load data from and to various sources leveraging pre-existing script templates provided by the Data Analytics team.
• Analyze Data and provide summary recommendations.

Duties include the preparation of Quality Management, Program, Sector and Business Area reports which encompass the collection of data and supporting information that results in a detailed analysis providing the Business with solid recommendations regarding status and improvement opportunities. Work collaboratively with other functions (and other BARs) to solve business problems and/or to improve business processes. Support the business in planning internal audits, tracking root cause / corrective actions, material alerts, and preparation of quality metrics for business area or sector level reviews. Additional duties include website maintenance and management of action logs, while supporting the execution and compliance of the QMS, as well as other duties as required.
In this position you will be partnered and work closely with Quality, Operations and Engineering at all levels of the business area organization to ensure metrics reporting as well as support continuous improvement efforts.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite of Products
• Data Analysis Tools such as MINITAB
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification/experience or ability to achieve Black Belt in 12 months

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Strong leadership, communications and organization skills to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
• BS Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Technical discipline

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
