Job Description
Situation, a digital-first agency building passionate communities for live experience-based clients like WICKED on Broadway and The Metropolitan Opera, seeks Business Intelligence Analyst to leverage and evaluate web, paid media, social media and ticket buyer data to develop insights and industry trends for our Arts & Entertainment clients. This role will report to the Account Group Director and will collaborate with the Client Services and Media teams to evaluate cross-platform data and provide analysis and optimizations. The selected candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for Google Analytics 4, data visualization tools, and paid, owned and earned media. They are passionate about using data-driven insights to inform strategic decision making, strongly competent at aggregating information and data from multiple sources, continually curious, digitally focused, proactive and collaborative.
What You’ll DoThe Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with the Client Services and Media teams to evaluate cross-platform web, ticketing and behavioral data to provide client-specific and industry insights into customer trends and marketing campaign performance. They will also import and analyze industry and industry-adjacent data to develop seasonal projections & trends. This person will need to have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of GA4, DOMO, Google Looker Studio, and the reporting features of all agency Digital Media and Organic Social Media platforms. The Business Intelligence Analyst will also need to develop an understanding of any client specific data tools, such as tm1, Tableau, TickX, etc. to support client teams using these tools. They should also stay in the know on new tools, external data sources and APIs that will give a more comprehensive view of consumer behavior.
Our office is located in midtown Manhattan and we are currently working in-office three days per week.
Sample Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Take ownership of all data offerings from ticketing partners to develop a complete view of the state of Broadway ticket buying
- Regularly analyze clients’ official website analytics and e-commerce website analytics to determine insights, trends and benchmarks by agency client verticals. Provide a cross-client dashboard with analysis within DOMO
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the agency's usage of DOMO. Feel comfortable utilizing cards built in DOMO to create cross-client insights and benchmarking for paid and organic social media
- QA dashboard and beast mode creations in DOMO and cross-compare within platform reporting
- QA survey builds in Survey Monkey. Collaborate with the Analytics team as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years in a Data Analytics field
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, DOMO, Google Looker Studio, Microsoft Excel and multi-platform research & data visualization tools
- Experience working with large data sets and distilling information for broader marketing applications
- Strong quantitative skills, including both analytical abilities and math proficiency
- Superior attention to detail and time management skills
- Understanding of the digital space and developing technologies
- Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
