Hybrid - Business Intelligence Analyst

Job location: New York, NY 10010 – after onboarding there is an expectation this person will be able to work from home on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office / 2 days at home)
Work week: Salaried – Monday through Friday
Salary Range: $65,000 to $80,000 + bonus

Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Computer Science or Business, or equivalent SQL work experience preferred
Required Experience:

• 2+ years of Business Intelligence and report writing experience
• Previous experience working with Python or MS-SQL required
• Ability to write intermediate/advanced queries using T-SQL required
• Advanced mastery of Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VBA, array formulas) and experience building excel reports and dashboards

Preferred Experience:

• Solid technical aptitude and experience in DAX/Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience within the retail, hospitality, labor, or manufacturing industry.

JOB OVERVIEW
The Business Intelligence Analyst, as part of the Business Intelligence team, designs, builds, deploys, and supports all reporting requests and BI projects. Familiarity with data science, Business Intelligence, and data analytics is key. They should have prior knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, modeling, Business Intelligence, and presentation concepts.

• Support small-to-mid-scale projects by creating and maintaining documentation for all reports in the Business Intelligence library
• Implement requested changes and updates to excel-based Business Intelligence reports
• Create ad-hoc data queries using Python
• Analyze key data sets and KPI reports for data accuracy and comparability
• Support the administration of ETL pipelines, including implementation, maintenance and optimization
• Interacts with virtual servers on-site and in Google Cloud Platform
• Support optimization and management of the data warehouse
• Participate in the evaluation of new BI tools for incorporation into the BI toolset
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meet the company’s guest service culture standards
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
