Business Development/Marketing Analyst

Desired Expertise and Skills:

The following experience matters to us for this position (most or all of these is a plus):

• You have 5-7 years of Business Development/Marketing experience;
• You have a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a similar area of study);
• You have 3-5 years of experience with website design;
• You have excellent writing, editing, copy editing and proofreading skills;
• Experience with proposals, branding, and consulting;
• You have experience in telecommunications or Internet policy or demonstrate

understanding;

• You have the ability to grasp new concepts quickly;
• You demonstrate critical thinking and are a creative thinker;
• You have a reputation for follow-through, timeliness, and attention to detail;
• You are organized and motivated to provide project support as directed;
• You are able to quickly change your focus from one assignment to another as new priorities arise and handle multiple simultaneous projects with stringent deadlines.

This position will include the following tasks:

• Prepare presentations, blogs, and newsletters.
• Support website design and brand management.
• Prepare internal templates.
• Participate in marketing and communications assessments, recommendations, planning, and other strategic projects.
• Support business strategy development.
• Coordinate webinars.
• Presentations, industry conferences, speaking engagements/panels.
• Track business opportunities.
• Assist with proposal efforts, and lead as necessary.
• Interface with multiple teams/divisions within CTC to incorporate cross-functional elements appropriate to each project.

Education

• A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field (Preferred)
