Babcock Power is looking for a self-motivated Business Development professional to help drive and support our growth for the Riley Power Business. We are a manufacturer of steam boiler parts and provide the parts and expert repairs and support services to keep them running at peak performance. Essential Responsibilities: As the Business Development Specialist will :
• Develop strategic and tactical/business plans which effectively lead to the development of new businesses for Riley Power.
• Create compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in profitably growing business.
• Support marketing efforts of related product lines.
• Communicate key activities, successes and market conditions through reports and participate in team meetings to share critical information.
Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: To be considered.
• Bachelor’s in engineering or business preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Willing to travel up to 60% to customers, meeting, and trade shows.
• Remote location with a preference in Texas or the western half of the US.
• Pulverizer industry is a plus.
• Experience in the coal-fired utility industry preferred.
Additional Information:
• Salary Range: $75,000 – 89,750 Base + Bonus
