K-5 ELA Tutor (In-Person)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated K-5 English Language Arts tutor in Phoenix. Instruction will take place in-person, at the school site after school. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with small groups and be comfortable with lesson planning. Tutoring will take place from 3:30pm-5:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The program will end on April 5th, 2024.
The tutor should be caring, dependable, and able to provide personalized instruction for K-5 students. This position requires the ability to plan and deliver daily lessons to small groups of 4 students. The tutor will meet regularly with teachers to provide progress updates on students and strategize about opportunities for improvement.
A teaching background is not required, but it is preferable. To be successful in this role, the tutor must have a passion to help students succeed. Establishing relationships with students is essential. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be committed to being on-time each day.

Requirements:
