We are searching for a handy and seasoned Field Engineer with extensive experience working on-site, directing on-site functions, and enhancing efficiency and customer experience to join our Service Delivery group. Your technical expertise will assist our organization in increasing deployment activity rate, improving efficiency, diagnosing problems, and complying with laws and regulations.
Service Delivery is responsible for making sure that services are being seamlessly delivered to the clients of an organization. They are in charge of a variety of tasks, such as leading project teams, rectifying reliability issues, monitoring progress, scheduling, coordinating and working with field technicians. Equipment processing. Must understand IP/Data circuits as well as have basic telephony. Basic understanding of Fire Alarm panels.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent technical skills, be a good communicator, and pay meticulous attention to detail. The exceptional Field Engineer should help create and identify potential problems within deployment process, improve efficiency, mitigate risk, encourage business growth, and enhance and sustain relations with clients.
Field Engineer Responsibilities:
Within this role you will:
- Conducting site visits, monitoring schedules, and supervising 3rd party technicians.
- Design, develop deployment strategies for new projects.
- Providing technical support, and troubleshooting on-site issues.
- Estimating costs, approving project designs, and preparing contracts.
- Mitigating risk, ensuring compliance, and evaluating environmental impact.
- Directing staff, contractors, engineers, and other on-site personnel.
- Meeting with clients and stakeholders.
- Drafting and submitting reports to superiors and other key individuals.

This position will report to Vice President of Service Delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a field-related role.
- Excellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge.
- A versatile and service-oriented mindset.
- Good understanding of safety guidelines.
- Telecom and Networking savvy and computer literate.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
