JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to oversee and support our sales team. The members in the position will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. They will collaborate with various professionals, so they must have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Suggest and implement improvements in the inside sales administration process
- Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
- Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement
- Build an open-communication environment for your team
- Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
- Monitor progress and submit performance reports
- Control budgets and allocate resources among projects
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel
- Understanding of the sales administration process
- Strong analytical, leadership and organizational skills
- Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
