Compensation:$25 - $50 hourly
Responsibilities:- Qualify incoming leads so appointments are arranged as fast as possible to provide an excellent customer service experience
- Update customer database regularly to provide the most up-to-date client information to the sales team
- Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met
- Seek out new business opportunities within the assigned geographies to expand clientele
- Prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
- Our Business Development Representative is a Distinguished Salesperson who supports our business by creating raving fans through an educational planning meeting where we help potential clients identify where they are in terms of their estate planning needs, where they want to be in protecting their legacy, and explain how our legal team will design a plan to help them move forward
- You will communicate with potential new clients over email, phone, and in person. The goal is to funnel qualified leads through the sales pipeline
- Our Business Development Representative listens to what they believe the biggest need is for a potential client to help them find the steps that will allow them to progress toward their goals in creating their family legacy plan. Our Business Development Representative is responsible for hearing those needs and offering services to help them move forward with a design meeting
- Our Business Development Representative will continue to engage with the potential client multiple times to follow up and support the potential new client until they design their plan or say they do not want to move forward
- Finally, our Business Development Representative loves to track performance data and use those analytics to see where we are connecting with our potential clients and where we need to pivot to ensure sales goals are achieved
- Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to travel by car
- Understand the sales process and how to enter information into client databases
- Great time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Proven track record of at least 2 years of experience in a sales position or related field
- Resilient problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in customer relations (5+ years)
- Ample understanding of business principles
- Clear communication and people skills
- Substantial attention to detail including grammar and spelling
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Phenomenal organization skills
- Excellent knowledge of basic office programs
