CDI is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (“BDR”) Manager to join our growing team. The BDR Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a team of BDRs to drive new business opportunities, expand our client base, and contribute to the continued growth and success of CDI.
Job Function & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a growing and diverse team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to generate new leads and opportunities in alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Ops on enablement plans, events, tools and processes.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to BDRs to enhance their skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective campaigns and initiatives to drive lead generation.
- Analyze sales metrics, track performance, and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote CDI's services and solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Required Skills:
- Sales Expertise: A solid understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and methodologies is crucial. This includes prospecting, lead generation, qualification, and closing deals.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of BDRs to achieve sales targets and objectives. Strong leadership skills include coaching, mentorship, and team development.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders. This includes effective presentation skills and the ability to articulate the value proposition of the company's services.
- Strategic Planning: Capable of developing and implementing strategic plans for lead generation and business growth. This involves setting clear objectives, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales metrics and data to assess performance, make data-driven decisions, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- CRM and Sales Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and various sales tools for efficient pipeline management, reporting, and tracking of leads and sales activities.
- Adaptability and Resilience: The capacity to work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, being adaptable to changing market conditions, and demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.
- Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of the IT consulting and managed services industry, including knowledge of competitors, industry trends, and client needs.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
- Time Management and Prioritization: Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic sales environment.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with the sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to align strategies and achieve common business objectives.
