We are a leading national workforce solutions firm seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Managerto join our team in Bakersfield, CA. We have expertise in staffing the light industrial, administrative, accounting, technology, and legal markets.As a Business Development Manager for our Bakersfield location, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's success by generating new business opportunities and fostering existing client relationships primarily focusing on selling our staffing services to mid to large-size Warehouse, Distribution, and Logistics companies.
The Day to Day:
- Work closely with new and existing clients to thoroughly understand their staffing requirements.
- Perform all aspects of the sales process, including building new relationships, nurturing existing ones, addressing client questions and concerns, and devising innovative solutions to support and enhance their staffing needs.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings through phone calls and in-person visits and utilize various technological resources.
- Utilize a CRM system to organize and manage a client and prospect pipeline effectively.
Qualifications:
- Prior BDM experience from staffing agencies is strongly desired.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both over the phone and in person, make clients eager to engage with you.
- Resilience in the face of rejection, with the ability to view "no" as a step closer to "YES."
- Strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to devise creative solutions to achieve your goals.
- Maintains composure and performs well under pressure.
