Job Title:Business Development Manager

Location: Territory covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana (Hybrid Role)

Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will take a pivotal role in driving our expansion into the United States. Covering the Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana territories, your responsibilities will include identifying and nurturing relationships with potential customers, promoting our premium brake products, and achieving sales targets. This hybrid role involves semi-frequent travel to meet with prospects and customers, with parts of onboarding & training taking place in Toronto, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management: Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet operators, distributors, and key industry influencers.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert on premium brake products, providing technical support and guidance to customers.
  • Salesforce Utilization: Leverage Salesforce for efficient customer management and reporting.
  • Prospecting: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Relationship Building: Foster lasting relationships by being a strong listener, understanding customer needs, and creating a sense of urgency.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Travel: Regularly travel within the territory to meet with prospects and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience.
  • Salesforce: Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience within industries such as construction, tractors, landscaping, or air conditioning parts is advantageous.
  • Motivated: Money-motivated, goal-oriented, and relentlessly pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Professional: Organized, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
  • Travel: Must have a valid driver's license, a car, and a passport for travel within the territory and onboarding in Canada.
