POSITION SUMMARY
Blue Owl is seeking an Associate to join its Product Solutions Group. The Product Solutions Group at the nexus of Business Development, investment, tax and legal teams. The team leads the efforts to launch new products and custom solutions for large clients and reduces friction in the sales process. Initially, the role will be heavily focused on LP research, market trend analysis, and aggregation of investment-related content from a variety of internal sources. This individual will also assist with diligence requests for new direct lending mandates, and as necessary with new product structuring and ad hoc project management. The ideal candidate is collaborative, technically minded and detail-oriented with an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple facets of Blue Owl's business and grow alongside an innovative, rapidly expanding platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Combine data from multiple external and internal sources to create high quality diligence packs to support the platform's fundraising efforts
- Proactively research market and investor trends with a focus on alternative asset classes
- Become familiar with and able to communicate details around fund structures and strategies including investment level information
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
- Proficiency in VBA and/or Python preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in financial services required (leveraged finance, private equity, real estate, alternative asset management, investment banking, capital markets, and/or consulting experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional work ethic, positive attitude and collaborative team-oriented disposition
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to grasp and distill complex concepts
- Self-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required
- Excellent attention to detail with high standard for precision
- Resourceful, solutions-oriented problem-solver
- High degree of discretion with the ability to handle proprietary and/or sensitive information regularly and with integrity
- Extremely professional with the ability to interact with senior leaders on a regular basis
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $130,000 to $150,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
