Job DescriptionOverview
GovCIO is currently hiring for Business Analyst; UI/UX Designer to collaborate with key stakeholders identifying business needs and solutions to business problems, as well as concentrating on creating optimal experiences for users. Focus on usability and visual design aspects. Perform detailed requirements analysis and create user interface designs and mockups. This position will be a fully remote
Responsibilities
+ Engage with developers, and clients to deliver compelling insights and recommendations
+ Organize research and design references for easy access
+ Create well-designed, visually appealing UX/UI solutions making best use of design system elements
+ Solve problems by prioritizing the user and design for maximum thoroughness
+ Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
+ Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
+ Creating user stories in JIRA by utilizing client defined Agile format
+ Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
+ May be asked to act as the scrum master and/or provide Business Analyst coverage as needed
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate experience)
+ 5+ years experience with combination of Web design and UI/UX specialization andas an IT Business Analyst
+ Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle phases
+ Demonstrated visual design talent in both UI and presentation materials
+ Excellent understanding of design elements and principles?
+ Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, and management.
+ Proficiency in solution assessment and validation.
+ Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
+ Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow and.
+ Experience with Visio, SharePoint, and Office Suite.
+ Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
+ Strong ability to reconcile business/technical/user flows and feature requirement
+ Demonstrated success using visual design tools such as Visio, and Figma
Clearance Required: Able to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range
USD $80,000.00 - USD $98,000.00 /Yr.
