Job Description

Banking Compliance Business Systems Analyst Remote - USA,USA Position Summary SolomonEdwards is working with a large commercial bank that needs help in product analysis supporting different workstreams for Global Compliance systems. Product Analysis works with Financial Crimes (Fraud, Sanctions, KYC, AML), teams focused on defining the acceptance criteria and system readiness activities as well as change management and user training as needed for assigned focus areas. The focus of this engagement will be on AML, Fraud, Investigations and SAS system. The ideal background in a consultant will be a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst turned Product Analyst with domain experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance and/or Financial Crimes. Essential Duties - Act as Product Analyst in Global Compliance supporting Oracle Financial Service Analytical Applications driving product analysis around risk measurement and performance. - Provide input to status reporting for product side of project-oriented work efforts. - Provides input to the business value stream roadmap for assigned product. - Utilize detailed domain knowledge to determine FCRM system impacts and create Epics, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria (KYC, Sanctions, AML, Fraud, Payments & Channels Product Knowledge). - Identify and define current 'As-Is' business processes and 'To-Be' business processes, conduct gap analysis, analyze requirements, and deliver various project artifacts: User stories/Backlog/BRDS, Acceptance Criteria, Definition of Done, User persona, Visio screen mock-ups, Interface designs, Data Mapping and other functional configuration documentations, Conduct JAD sessions. - Analyze requirements and deliver various artifacts if needed: Visio screen mock-ups, Interface designs, Data Mapping and Configure business workflows in Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) 8.0.5 product and/or other platforms (if needed). - Organize and participate in Product Increment Planning, sprint planning, story pointing, story sizing and stakeholder demos, for assigned work area. - Design and implement effective change management strategies and plans that include the communication strategy, education and training approach, resistance to change, sustaining change after implementation, measuring expected benefits and ROI. - Provide input to Business Architecture diagrams & workflows. - Document and Execute user story acceptance criteria (UAT Test cases and Test scripts). Position Requirements - Product analyst/Business Systems Analyst experience in Agile framework and toolset. - Prior experience required in the capacity of Business Systems Analyst/product analyst driving the capabilities definition, user story creation, acceptance criteria, and end of sprint demonstration to stakeholders. - Experience in drafting backlogs, PI & sprint planning, burn down & burn up metrics, KPIs. - Hands on experience in Jira, Confluence. - Hands on experience in drafting Map & Gap analysis, Workflows & Wireframes, User Stories/Business Requirements, UAT, SQL queries, Data Mapping, Deployment plan, Business Roll Back plan, Change Management, Training. - Experience working with transaction screening systems, Core Banking Systems, Payment Systems, and Middleware. - Technical knowledge of FCRM related Systems & Tools inclusive of OFSAA, Fircosoft Accuity, Bottomline, SAS AML alert engine, LexisNexis, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Outlook, SQL, Data Warehousing, OBIEE, Reporting, SharePoint, Pivot Charts, Pivot Tables. - Demonstrate prior experience in developing seamless end-to-end digital solutions across organizational boundaries. - Bachelor's Degree required. - 5+ years of professional experience in Product owner/business analyst experience - Experience with GRC, Financial Crimes, BSA, or OFAC - Flexibility to work in global time zones to support international business stakeholders and project teams. - Strong presentations and communication - Travel Requirements: Remote; As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings Mission and Vision We are a superior consulting firm focused on helping clients achieve their dreams and address complex situations with inspired people, deep expertise, and innovative technologies. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
