The School of Performing Arts comprises faculty with expertise in many areas who are dedicated to student success and celebrated for their successes as artists and educators. The Opportunity:
The Box Office Support Assistant will support the Box Office Manager and the primary responsibilities include acting as Manager on Duty (supervision of students, pulling ticket sales and cash reconciliations, opening and closing performance spaces, customer services issues) for events in the absence of the Box Office Manager, training and on-boarding of student Box Office staff/ushers, general administrative duties and Box Office maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Serve as manager on duty at performances/events.
Assist with training of new Box Office staff, student house managers, ushers, etc.
Selling subscription packages, single tickets, and group tickets while delivering excellent customer service to all patrons.
General administrative duties (filing, organizing, making copies, scanning, etc).
Maintaining a safe and clean public facing space in theater, lobby, music spaces, office, etc.
Golf cart operations for performances or events.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school Diploma and 0+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to
Fla. Stat. 112.219(6)
.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid driver's license.
Two years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent customer service experience.
