Box Office Representative

Summary:

Part-time opportunity for a customer service oriented individual with a basic computer and phone skills. Some days, must be available evenings and weekends. Flexible schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

· Sell tickets to a large variety of shows utilizing Ticketmaster and TMOne. Entails becoming familiar with The Akron Civic Theatre, EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall, Knight Stage and Goodyear Theater’s seating; parking options; and handicapped drop off. Also entails becoming familiar with show descriptions.

· Process (print, envelope, prepare for mailing or Will Call) window and phone orders.

· Balance end of day receipts.

· Display proficiency in basic math.

· Ability to work with Windows.

· Punctual.

· Must be able to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Education and/or Experience:

Box Office experience and Ticketmaster, TM One, and Windows experience preferred; high school diploma.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency using Ticketmaster and TM One software; Proficiency using Microsoft Office;
