Job description

Our firm is seeking a person with Bookkeeping/Accounting skills with knowledge and experience in general ledger work. Duties include (but not limited to) Journal entries, bank reconciliations, inventory, AR & AP review, job cost, WIP, financial statements and other accounting processes as needed. This position is located in Merced, CA and reports directly to the company’s General Manager.

We are willing to consider entry-level candidates with a degree, or a part-time schedule for highly proficient candidates!

Skills, Qualifications, Responsibilities

· College degree (accounting, business management, etc.) preferred, but not required

· Good computer skills, emphasis on MS Excel

· Good verbal and written communication

· Ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks

· Accounting (GAAP)

· Month-end, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations and balancing

· Balance sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Income Statements

· Management of accounting processes

· Developing/tracking budget expenses

· Analyzing information

· Audit skills

· Must be self-starter and motivated to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Must be an eager team player and willing to coordinate with multiple departments and their personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
