The Role
As a Partner Account Manager - Bookkeeping Vertical, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by nurturing and expanding relationships with our existing bookkeeper and accounting firm partners. The primary objective of this role is to maximize upsell opportunities, enhance product adoption, and contribute to the overall success of our partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing bookkeepers and accounting firms.
  • Understand the bookkeeper's objectives and align our solutions to meet their evolving needs.
  • Develop and execute upsell strategies to drive revenue growth with bookkeepers and accounting firms.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and channels to ensure seamless coordination in delivering value to our bookkeeper clients.
  • Monitor client account health and proactively address any challenges.
  • Provide training and support to bookkeepers and accounting firms, ensuring they are well-equipped to leverage our solutions effectively.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Effectively communicate product features and benefits to bookkeeper clients.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine upsell strategies and achieve targets.
  • Share best practices and industry insights to help bookkeepers and accounting firms optimize their use of our products.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, particularly in the context of bookkeeping and AP automation.

Ingredients
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or channels.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in an upsell-focused role.
  • Deep understanding of the bookkeeping and accounting industry, including familiarity with industry trends, challenges, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment, adapting to changes in strategy and market conditions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with AP Automation solutions is a significant advantage.
