Job Description
Values-focused law firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bookkeeping and Billing Administrator to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our client billing while actively supporting our accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete client billing process through Clio software
- Generate and dispatch invoices to clients promptly and accurately
- Apply client payments and manage receivables effectively
- Prepare and manage payment sheets for attorneys and process vendor payments
- Conduct reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records
- Generate and present financial statements as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or client inquiries
- Assist with the compliance of state regulations, deadlines, and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the timely submission of necessary paperwork.
- Other administrative projects, as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Bookkeeping and/or billing within the legal sector REQUIRED
- High proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience with Clio or similar legal billing software
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Work Environment and Compensation
This is a full-time (40 hours) hybrid position with an anticipated in-office requirement of 2 days per week. This individual can either be located in Westwood (Los Angeles) CA or Bend, OR. The compensation package will be competitive and commensurate with experience and office location, with an annual salary of $65,000 - $85,000 in Los Angeles depending on experience.
