Medical Billing Administrator

Immediate availability for a full time Billing Administrator for multiple providers in a fast pace Rural Health Clinic.

Duties:
- Review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10 and/or ICD-9 coding systems
- Verify insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and reimbursement policies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Rural Health Medical Biller or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Medical Billing procedures, coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9), and insurance guidelines
- Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
- Proficient in using Medical Billing software/systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
