Chimney Doctors is the Twin Cities premier specialty Chimney and Fireplace company. We’ve seen massive growth over the last few years, and we’re continuing to take our company to the next level. We’re looking for career-driven, ambitious individuals to join our team as a Bookkeeper.

This position can be either an in person or hybrid remote position and the hours are somehwat flexible. Our office environment is casual and fun but still professional and fast paced.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage and track invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify discrepancies or potential issues.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
• Assist the rest of the office team with various human resources tasks

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with remote work and familiarity with virtual collaboration tools is a plus.
• Associates or bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not neccesary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
