SalaryDo you want to work with multiple Small Businesses to handle their end-to-end accounting? Insights Accounting Services is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to provide day-to-day accounting support to our clients. This position is 100% remote, 15-25 hours per week, reports directly to owner.
Responsibilities
- Categorize bank transactions
- Reconcile bank statements/credit card statements/loans to GL account
- Enter vendor payables/complete check runs
- Enter customer receivables
- Enter hours and approve payroll in third party payroll system
- Prepare and file sales and use tax
- Answer questions from clients
- Research and explain transaction details to clients
Experience and Skills
- 1 year QuickBooks Online
- 1 year account reconciliation
- 1 year Microsoft Excel (understanding of vlookups and pivot tables)
- Self-starter/work independently
- Organized and detail oriented
- Accurate data entry
Location
- Looking for individuals near the Twin Cities metro area as this may involve infrequent on-site meetings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
