JOB SUMMARY:
FACE FOUNDRIE is a focused facial bar specializing in all things face; facials, lashes, brows and skincare. Our modern, open concept spaces promote a welcoming and relaxing environment. As a fast- growing franchisor, FACE FOUNDRIE is looking for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions of the company which includes maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process vendor bills and payments in accounts payable.
Ensure all invoices/cash receipts are applied correctly in accounts receivable.
Process bank and credit card transactions, receipts, and reconcile accounts.
Responsible for issuing/canceling credit cards.
Responsible for running reports and recording monthly journal entries such as: sales, COGS - inventory adjustments, prepaid expenses, fixed asset related entries, expense accruals, and deferred revenue recognition.
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts such as: prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany, accrued expenses, and deferred revenue.
File sales and use tax returns.
Ensure financial data is entered correctly and accurately.
Process bi-weekly payroll for 11 small business entities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills, task-oriented, and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years of experience in a business setting preferred.
Accounting software experience is preferred (Quickbooks or financial software).
Experience with routine monthly journal entries and account reconciliations preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
