Are you detail-oriented, skilled with numbers, and enjoy handling accounting tasks? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our team as an Accountant/Office Manager and play a key role in assembling financial reports, recording transactions, managing various accounting responsibilities, and taking charge of office operations. This position will be responsible for providing daily bookkeeping, internal project management, and administrative support.
Location: Lakeville, MN
Job Type: Full Time, Monday – Friday
NOTE: Open to a hybrid situation with the right candidate
Wage: $25 – $30/hour

Duties of the office manager / bookkeeper position:
- Record financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Track and process payroll.
- Manage accounts payable, job costs and accounts receivable.
- Handle invoicing and billing.
- Maintain filing system and ensure documents are organized.
- Make bank deposits.
- Process purchase orders.
- Assist with month end and year end closing processes.
- Assist with project management support.
- Oversee office operations and provide managerial support.
Qualificationsof the office manager / bookkeeper position:
- 2 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience or equivalent
- Financial experience in the construction industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to think critically and assess various situations for the best course of action.
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 tool suite and ability to learn new technology easily.
- Experience with Sage 100 Contractor Accounting software preferred, but not required.
- Process-oriented and detailed with the ability to visualize process improvements.
- Dependability – being part of a team requires being reliable, responsible, and fulfilling obligations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
