Full Job Description
Fast paced Home Textiles company seeking experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience, can-do attitude and ability to be a team player.
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 recent relevant work experience working in a small corporate business environment
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks accounts receivable plus invoicing
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks Online including but not limited to:
- Input – expense reports, customer & vendor invoices & payments, payroll
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, PayPal, Shopify on monthly basis
- Provide monthly financials to China office and coordinate QuickBooks updates
- Regular interaction with China office providing financial documentation, invoice updates, payment tracking, etc.
- Manage bill-payments and wire transfers
- Work with 3rd party Human Resources provider:
- Set up payroll
- Manage Benefits including annual open enrollment for employees
- 401K (annual compliance)
- HR compliance
- Expense reports
- Employee PTO tracking
- New Employee on-boarding
- Regular interaction with Warehouse including collecting invoices, reviewing for accuracy, and distributing to the appropriate department for approval
- Quarterly/Yearly filings:
- Maintain corporate compliance and tax filing for multiple states
- 1099 forms
- 1096/1099 forms to IRS
- Provide tax support to CPA in China Office
- Generate Commission and Royalty schedules and payments on a monthly basis
- Work within customer portals to download payment support and input pertinent company data as part of new vendor set up process
