Bookkeeper

Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced, analytical, & detail-oriented Bookkeeper, who will fit in well with our dynamic team. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for a diverse group of clients’ day-to-day bookkeeping tasks as well as preparing and reviewing their financials monthly. This role is client-facing requires great communication skills and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Categorize transactions using accounting principles
• Reconcile bank and other accounts
• Record all cash receipts
• Make yearend entries
• Review financials for accuracy
• Meeting with clients via video conferencing
• Explain & discuss financials
• Manage client’s expectations and produce deliverables
• Perform full-year financial clean ups

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a public accounting bookkeeper (preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures (required)
• At least 2 years of QuickBooks Online Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business administration, accounting, finance or relevant field preferred

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge of payroll and bookkeeping principles
• Understand how to balance large bank accounts
• Computer literacy (MS Excel in particular)
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Strong numeracy skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong email communication skills
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage diverse duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
