Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Enter data and formulate employee expense reports using cost accounting software.
- Produce basic accounting reports relating to accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare purchase orders and receive inventory.
- Train as backup for accounts payable.
- Train as backup for payroll using 3rd party service such as ADP.
- Act as a backup for Receptionist as needed.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate required; associate degree in accounting/business administration preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience involving a variety of duties.
- Understanding of debits, credits, and overall accounting knowledge.
- Basic computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software.
- General Office duties including: file management, shipping/receiving and phones.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing internal and external customer service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Openness to help others on the team with new projects and other initiatives as the company grows.
