SalarySupport Finance Director with department activities which will include the following:
Record daily financial transactions and complete posting process.
Monitor bank accounts, complete bank reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Record journal entries to include verifying transactions are recorded under the general ledger code; and reconcile general ledger.
Process accounts receivable and payable.
Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements as needed.
Conduct daily banking activities.
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors.
Assist Finance Director with managing all aspects of bookkeeping and financial record keeping
Assist with the preparation of financial reports; and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger accounts.
Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to accounting principles
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of debits and credits, as well as general accounting principles
Proficient in 10-key typing and data entry
Previous experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk preferred
Familiarity with accounting software such Great Plains is a plus
Understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations
Ability to perform account analysis and identify discrepancies
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
