Key Job Description:
Impresiv Health is seeking a Finance Specialist/Bookkeeper to support our rapidly growing organization. This position will report to the Director of Finance. The Finance Specialist/Bookkeeper will be responsible collecting and verifying information and prepare payrolls for all employees and maintain billable time records as well as support overall accounting functions for the organization. This will include payroll administration, data entry and modification, verification and confirmation, communication and coordinating with other functions to ensure accuracy.
You’ll Be Asked To:
· Gather, review, and correct inaccuracies of weekly timesheets by verifying with approving supervisor any discrepancies in terms of unclear arithmetic differences, authorized overtime, or reasons for absences, either paid or unpaid
· Enter and timely transmit payroll information through the computerized payroll system
· Process special payroll checks as required in case of payroll errors or terminations
· Assist employees and staff with general questions related to payroll, leave accruals, wage deductions, direct deposit, and other pay related issues
· Maintains accounting schedules used to track and reconcile employees’ work hours and customers billable hours
· Assist with account registration in states payroll tax systems and handles unemployment claims and verification forms as needed
We’d Love to Hear from People Who Have:
· At least two (2) years of experience in multi-state payroll processing and tax filing
· Bachelor's degree in accounting/ business administration or similar field
· Experience with QuickBooks; experience with JobDiva preferred
· Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
· Ability to develop clear and concise written communications for both internal and external communication
