We are an accounting firm seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper for our Bonita Springs CPA office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling cash, bank accounts and revenues
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making adjustments as needed
- Creating journal entries for all accounts, including fixed assets
- Monitoring the business' cash flow
- Issuing invoices to and collecting payments from customers
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Remitting payroll, income, sales and use taxes
- Processing employees' timesheets and managing payroll
- Supervising accounting staff, such as payroll clerks, billing clerks or payables clerks
- Collecting information for auditing purposes
- Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Client bookkeeping on QuickBooks desktop and/ or QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare bank deposits
- Data entry and other accounting functions as assigned.
- Prepare Documents as Needed
Computer Skills:
Be proficient with QuickBooks (at least 5 Years Experience), MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
Other Skills and Abilities:
Must be detail oriented
Ability to Communicate Accurately and Clearly Orally and in Writing
Employment hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:30am -5pm, with possible over-time, during tax season.'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
