Bookkeeper

Cali Lemon Lawyers by Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. is a full-service lemon law firm based in Los Angeles. Our law office represents California clients who have been sold a defective vehicle that qualifies as a lemon.

Prestige Legal Solutions is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our firm. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, and be familiar with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online. Must have a knack for balancing the books and staying on top of financials. This position will be involved a wide range of tasks, from balancing accounts to entering data into QuickBooks and creating financial reports.

The responsibilities are not limited to but include:

• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Efficient with Quick Books online Maintain approved chart of accounts.
• Continuously review operating costs/expenses.
• Reconcile accounts regularly.
• Develop and document standard operating processes.
• Develop and manage the approval and reconciliation of the payroll process.
• Process manual checks as necessary.
• Make Deposits.
• Work with an outside accounting firm as necessary.
• Maintain compliance within the scope of responsibilities and confidentiality.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
• Advanced spreadsheet proficiency is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to treat the information confidentially and with sensitivity.

Other:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent in accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, Quick Books Online is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.50 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
