Position Overview:
Beewise is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in the United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial records and transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial matters.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and payroll processing.
* Process AP invoices, assemble bill payments, and maintain a relationship with vendors that includes frequent communication
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., Netsuite).
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
* Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to ensure financial stability and sustainability.
* Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and tax requirements.
* Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and assistance to auditors.
* Handle any other ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
* At least 3 years of experience working in a startup environment is preferred.
* Proficiency in accounting software, such as Netsuite.
* Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
