REPORTS TO: PIMS Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Proficiency in keyboarding (50 wpm), spelling, punctuation, grammar, oral communication, filing and organizational ability. Must possess/demonstrate computer literacy skills including, but not limited to, word processing and spreadsheet applications (Excel and Google)
- Experience with computer systems
- Must possess ability to operate a variety of office equipment including, but not limited to, facsimile machines and photocopiers
- Must demonstrate a willingness to enhance technological skills as they relate to the School District's needs
- Must possess ability to work under stressful situations and meet scheduled timelines
- Good communication skills required
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain an understanding of School Board policies and State guidelines on residency and attendance.
- Enter all required data for PIMS reporting from registration documents.
- Support Registration function with in-district registrations.
- Provide enrollment reports as needed, including PIMS and PDE reports.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties that require database management, mail merge, and computer and Internet skills. Specific duties will require the use of the Student Information System software.
- Oversee charter school tracking including enrollments and withdrawals as related to charter school billing and reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets for charter school billings and facilities.
- Oversee the 4605 billing process including all correspondence and spreadsheet development.
- Enroll charter school and non-public students in Student Information and Transportation System.
- Work with Special Ed and other departments to track out of district student placements and billing.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with students, staff and parents.
- Exercise confidentiality with regard to student records (FERPA) and District matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
8 hours/day, 12 month position. Salary determined by negotiated contract.
