Summary: The ELC Administrative Assistant will provide support and care for the first-grade students, their parents, and the faculty working in the ELC building.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safety and Childcare Support
  • Oversee early morning drop-off and childcare.
  • Greet and assist parents and guests.
  • Monitor cameras and access to the building.
  • Assist students with medication, provide care when sick, and communicate with parents.
• Faculty Support
  • Assist first-grade teachers with copying, laminating, cutting, and filing
  • Supervise safety drills and procedures.
  • Communicate with facilities when teachers require support for building needs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to handle multiple projects with efficiency and accuracy
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Display a wide degree of creativity and latitude
• Working knowledge of technology, both general hardware and software products
