Job Description
TDX Holdings is recruiting for the position of Billing Specialist. This is a regular full-time position located in Anchorage, AK. This position reports to the Accounting Controller.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Billing Specialist will process billing for federal and commercial contracts including but not limited to T&M, CPFF and FFP contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Provide billing support to contracts, Program Managers, and Controllers;
- Input contract invoices for all entities assigned;
- Utilize the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) application to create invoices, receiving reports, and access contract related documents;
- Prepare documents and maintain document files on-line and off line;
- Filing – both hard copy and electronic documents;
- Assist with audit requests; and
- Assist in reconciling the General Ledger to job cost reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Demonstrable Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Good working knowledge of purchasing and billing;
- Two years’ experience minimum billing and related work for government contracting companies;
- Knowledge of project requirements relating to contracting essentials; and
- Understanding Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Service Contract Act, and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
