SUMMARY
Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist III for the Anchorage, AK office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create and submit FFP, T&M, and CPFF billings to customers in compliance with the contract, by their prospective due dates and the deadlines of the accounting department.
- Maintain related spreadsheets to track billing and revenue.
- Review and approve monthly invoicing and submittals.
- Training staff and providing resources as needed.
- Organize and recommend improvements for project structure.
- Review and approve cash receipts for accurateness. Monthly bank statement review.
- Weekly release of PWP vendors for payables.
- Monthly follow up on aging receivables for cash management.
- Monthly review of unbilled analysis.
- Must perform duties as a Billing Specialist II for a minimum of 2 years.
- All other duties as assigned in support of the receivables department.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of federal contract billing experience.
- Four (4) years of experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar software.
- Four (4) years of experience in receivables.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Government websites.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred
- Experience with Government contracting, pricing proposals.
- Working knowledge of accounting software Costpoint.
- Experience working with IPP, Wide Area Work Flow, Electronic Document Access, and My Invoice.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or required work experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
