Billing Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
A Billing Specialist is responsible for providing office support and performing administrative duties. This is a support position for the company whose primary responsibility is the timely processing of client invoicing. One must have good analysis, math and accounting skills, and strong attention to detail for reconciling daily and weekly reports as they relate to client invoicing. Strong communication skills as this position is client facing to help with inquiries. Comfort using a variety of software programs including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Oracle, and e-mail along with knowledge of standard office equipment such as photocopiers, personal computers and telephone systems is expected. Excellent organizational skills are required in maintaining accounting information, confidential employee information and accurate status for billing cycles/activities. The ability to follow procedures and established guidelines a must along with being able to work independently when required and as part of the team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Prepare client invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
• Utilize client required invoice interfaces.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve billing issues.
• Prepare and maintain reports for billing status and client cost as required.
• Professional communications and responses to client inquiries
• Must possess ability to work independently.
• Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
• Strictly adheres to State, Federal and companies driving policies, journey management instructions and polices.
• Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
• Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in accounts receivable and invoicing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel required.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Possess excellent reading and comprehension skills.
• Ability to manage time, multitask, and remain focused.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience reconciling company credit card accounts to ensure billing reimbursable expenses preferred.
• Experience uploading invoices into electronic submissions portals for clients preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred.
• Oil & Gas experience preferred.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:
• Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
• Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.
• Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
• Required to complete and successfully pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company's continued operational needs once training is completed.
