Description:Purpose of Position:
Working under the direction of the Controller, the Billing Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable for Company’s growing consumer rental division. The Billing Specialist will provide management with regular updates on the status of the division’s receivable customer accounts and collections issues.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Submit & track credit account customer invoices, including warranty & tour wholesalers
- Be the primary point of contact for all business clients and VIPs
- Maintain a good working relationship with all clientele, with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service
- Issue customer statements and handle any customer inquiries related to billing
- Follow established procedures for damage bills, including working with insurance companies and body shops
- Assist corporate division Accounts Receivable Department as needed
- Weekly review of AR Aging report with management
- Collections of overdue accounts, including conducting follow up calls and sending demand letters
- Identification/management of any tax-exempt customer accounts
- Initial review of month end tax & airport concession reports
- Daily reconciliation of cash receipts; researching and resolving account discrepancies
- Initial set-up & management of fleet inventory in software
- Rental rate/pricing research and management
- Utilization and revenue reporting for the division
- Other accounting & administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting preferred
Ability to pass pre-employment background / DMV check and drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
