Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of company policy, process compliance, payroll, benefits, the 401k plan, leaves of absence and providing customer service to CGL employees.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies & processes for operational excellence and compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with payroll service providers.
• Monitor payroll & benefit systems to maintain consistency and standardization.
• Utilize HRIS systems and computer software programs to maintain records, create and design reports, and create supporting documentations, forms, and materials.
• Support the onboarding process.
• Support the termination/offboarding process by providing departing team members with information on final pay and company issued equipment return guidelines.
• Lead and coordinate a biweekly payroll and process ad hoc cycle payments if needed.
• Leave Management: coordinate and process FMLA, ADA (reasonable accommodations), LTD and STD claims.
• Manage Workers Comp claims and submit Workers Comp audit data.
• Respond to and process wage garnishments.
• Respond to and manage Unemployment claims.
• Respond timely to tax agency notices.
• Manage the benefits enrollment process, assist with benefit claim issues and plan changes in partnership with vendor(s).
• Coordinate Open Enrollment activities including meetings, communication plans, enrollment assistance and auditing.
• Reconcile monthly benefit vendor invoices and submit billing for payment.
• Assist in managing third-party relationships with benefit brokers and other vendors.
• Manage all 401k transactions, including eligibility/enrollment, contribution changes, loan requests and repayments, rollovers, and withdrawals. Provide quarterly census to TPA for employer contributions as well as information needed annually TPA for preparation of the 5500.
• Remit all 401k contributions each time a payroll is processed as well as periodic employer contributions.
• Maintain a cohesive working relationship with 401k vendors.
• Ad hoc duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in human resources)
• 5 years of Human Resource experience
• HRIS expertise, preferably using Paylocity,
• Proficient with MS Office.
