We are a family-owned company with a proven 35-year track record that specializes in providing full-service donor development and marketing services to non-profit organizations.
We are seeking a talented Billing Specialist who desires a career with a rapidly growing company who provides stability, long-term work and values the contributions of individuals to overall team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- From vendor’s bid, prepare Client Authorization Forms for each project for all clients
- Follow up on CAF’s if not signed by client in a timely manner
- Prepare purchase orders for vendors for all projects
- As projects are complete, prepare billing summary for approval
- When summaries are approved send invoices to client
- Follow up on any questions staff or clients might have regarding financial information
- Reconcile postage at the end of each project
- Track total job costing (create, produce and postage) and transmit in a timely manner to Data Analyst.
- Track and report any cost not attributed to a project
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum 2 years of direct billing experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detailed orientated, able to track 75 active projects at all times.
- Flexible in daily activities
- Adaptable to new systems and procedures
- Team player / willing to step in wherever needed
- Professional w/staff and outside contacts
- Performs job tasks with integrity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
