We are looking for a motivated University Billing Specialistsupporting our tribal team for our International/Tribal division - responsible for compiling data and preparing invoices and bills. Starting salary is $38,000 per year.
Must reside in or near Maricopa County, AZ. New hire training will encompass three full weeks of training. One week will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus, and the following two weeks will be held virtually via Zoom.

What you will do:

• Reconcile rosters and invoices to ensure accurate billing.
• Create standard invoices and follow receivables for all students with corporate sponsorship.
• Maintain professional relationships with students and external government agency contacts
• Use appropriate systems e.g., WAWF, AI portal and Goarmyed portal to bill Tuition assistance
• Reconcile the VA once for all certification of GI funding which includes adding and deleting student accounts with the appropriate student system
• Complete daily DOD processing, VA mail processing, and TA grade reporting,
• Responsible for team audits and compliance oversight.
• Responsible for ROTC training process.
• Complete military invoicing, One Branch
• Administer TA Degree plans
• Responsible for completing VA Graduation Reporting
• Responsible for completing the VA Certificate of Eligibility
• Work with Student Accounting
• Monitor program of study
• Complete statement of fees.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will have:

• Minimum experience of 2 years in collections or customer billing environment.
• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university
• 6 months professional experience in higher education customer billing function.
• VA certification, invoicing government agencies or military experience preferred.
• Cannot be in default on a federal student loan which is verified through pre-employment background check.
