Job Title: Billing Manager for Pediatric Practice

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Billing Manager to join our team. The Billing Manager will be responsible, with the assistance of the Administrator and Clinical Manager, for ensuring availability for delegating and covering specific administrative duties within our pediatric practice. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of medical billing procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the billing process.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims to maximize revenue collection.
• Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Stay current on changes to insurance regulations and billing codes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide regular reports and analysis to management on billing performance and revenue trends.
• Collaborate with other departments within the practice to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, preferably in a pediatric setting.
• Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health records eClinical Works (a plus) systems.
• Strong understanding of insurance billing regulations, including Medicaid and private insurance carriers, knowledge of Community Care Physician Network is helpful.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and insurance companies.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve common goals.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
