Machine Operator - 1St Shift

Program and operate, including advanced knowledge of procedures for use of, band saw, plasma pipe cutter, iron worker, etc. (Carbon Steel & Stainless steel)  Prior and extensive knowledge of similar machinery along with speeds and feed rates of materials for cutting and machining process is required.  Changing and cleaning of consumables such as band saw blades, plasma, air filters, etc.  Prior experience to read and interpret production drawings and/or prints of moderate complexity and understand their meaning for proper fabrication of products.  Use of hand and power tools including grinders, hammers, plate roll, punch press, wrenches, etc.  Layout own work, listen and follow instructions.  Desire to work in a safe production environment.  Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing and company.
