Job Description
The Billing Analyst will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes, supporting clean energy initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of financial processes, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Salary: 60,000- 66,000
Responsibilities:
- Analyze billing matrix, commodity bills, and other records to compile data needed for invoice preparation in our D365 system.
- Review manual billing calculations to ensure consistency with contractual terms, identifying and correcting discrepancies as needed.
- Review and approve all CPI/PPI index calculations, providing essential support during close processes.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor on billing analysis, volume and revenue reconciliations, and internal/external audits.
- Review and update SOX documentation for billing-related processes.
- Support the Sales team by conducting customer analysis and contract reviews, and recommending contract revisions related to billing.
- Test and finalize all new D365 or 3rd party system tools utilized by the team for billing and reporting.
- Develop and document efficient billing procedures for new and existing business needs as determined by Management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of MS Dynamics preferred.
