What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing a high volume of in-bound and out-bound calls from patients, hospitals, and insurance carriers to resolve patient accounts and humanize the patient experience
  • Researching alternate insurance or payment options available while navigating and updating multiple patient accounting systems
  • Assessing caller status to ensure the protection of patient privacy and compliance with State and Federal guidelines

The best fit for this job is someone who:

  • Has previous customer service and/or collections experience
  • Is fluent in both English and Spanish (Fluency will be tested)
  • Has demonstrated proficiency operating and utilizing multiple internal and external collections systems and reporting mechanisms in order to ensure account resolution
  • Possesses excellent communication skills – no fear of the phones!
  • Has the ability to identify an issue, examine options, and provide effective solutions
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Has the ability to productively work remotely, including:
    • Reliable and secure non-satellite-based internet connection (this will be tested prior to start date)
  • Dedicated quiet and private workspace

The base salary range for this role is between $18 and $28 per hour, and is dependent upon your specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
