Job description

We hire people, not positions. That's because, at Concora Credit, we put people first, including our customers, partners, and Team Members.

Concora Credit is guided by a single purpose: to help non-prime customers do more with credit.

Today, we have helped millions of customers access credit. Our industry leadership, resilience, and willingness to adapt ensure we can help our partners responsibly say yes to millions more.

As a company grounded in entrepreneurship, we're looking to expand our team and are looking for people who foster innovation, strive to make an impact, and want to Do More!

We’re an established company with over 20 years of experience, but now we’re taking things to the next level. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change.

Join the nation’s leader in second-look finance servicing as our Benefits Specialist!

The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

Our Benefits Specialist will support our benefits programs' overall successful delivery and support. Together with HR partners, you will identify best practices and recommend solutions, seeking manager input as appropriate. Expectations for the role include advising on benefits and best practices.

The position is hybrid, Monday - Wednesday on-site at our Beaverton, OR office, and Thursday - Friday WFH.

As our Benefits Specialist, you will:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Benefit Plan-related questions and issues addressing eligibility, compliance, and annual audit requirements for all Concora Credit Team Members.
  • Meet with new employees to review benefit options, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the invoice reconciliation process, including the review of enrollment and termination data.
  • Act as a key point of contact during the annual enrollment process, including project management, user acceptance testing, and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, 5500’s and IRS regulations and other required reporting.
  • Prepare benefit and wellness-related communications and presentations.
  • Prepare and facilitate required benefit audits.
  • Understand and use qualitative/quantitative measurement to evaluate and advise on internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Act as an escalation contact for plan participants, HR, and benefit vendors.
  • Use data to build project plans and ensure schedule and specifications adherence.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable. If your experience is close to what we're looking for, consider applying. Diversity has made us the entrepreneurial and innovative company that we are today.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric approach, team player mentality, proven ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, and solid organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3 – 5 years of benefits experience and proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize.
  • A basic understanding of HR functional areas, including Payroll, Compensation, etc., is preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, and workers’ compensation.
  • Must be an analytical thinker, problem solver, change advocate, and critical thinker.
